What to play when you don’t want the party to die: A Cheers Approved Playlist

We’ve all been there - someone starts playing Kendrick Lamar at a party and suddenly the vibe is dead. (#teamdrizzy) You’ve spent months thinking about tonight: this party with your friends. Your outfit is perfect and the vibes are on 10. Next thing you know everyone is sitting down and talking - if it goes on too long you’ll have wasted your best party dress on an evening discussing tariffs and celebrity court cases. Don’t worry - we got your back!

This past summer - Katie and I hauled ourselves up to Virginia Beach for the night of a lifetime: T-Pain and Pitbull Live! After several hours of singing along with two of the greatest partiers of our generation, we made our way to a line dancing bar where we proceeded to do tequila shots in cowboy boots for the rest of the evening.

It may seem like a night dancing to Pitbull and doing shots with your friends is dumb. But we’re here to correct you: it’s not dumb, it’s actually kind of the whole point. Having fun together, making memories, and feeling good are some of the best parts of being a person! Cheers is all about that - partying. Not for the sake of drinking too much or making bad choices (some of the things that give our beloved partying a bad rep) but because human connection is essential to living a fulfilled life. The great news is - we’ve spent a lifetime becoming experts at having a good time.

Before someone starts playing Not Like Us and a fight about a rap battle breaks out - just pull out your phone and press play on this playlist. I promise you’ll be shaking your ass, singing at the top of your lungs, and forgetting about all of the woes of the world (even if it’s just for a night!)
